How long will it take to receive my purchase?

We try our best to dispatch items same day as purchase or the next day. If your order is for handmade products there could be a slight delay getting it out to you but we will always advise by email if an order is going to take longer than 7 days to dispatch.

Which courier service do you use?

We use Royal Mail for smaller packages and a choice of courier services (we don’t stick to one as we look for the best deal) for larger heavier packages, Please make your choice of delivery options at checkout.

Do you ship abroad?

Yes, Please check if we ship to your country by selecting 'calculate postage cost' at checkout.

What is PayPal and is there another way I can pay?

Our preferred method of payment is PayPal.
PayPal is a secure way to pay over the internet, you can pay by credit or debit card. Your card details are never passed onto us. You don't even need a PayPal account to pay, for more information please visit their website at www.paypal.com .  Alternatively we will accept postal orders, please use the 'contact us' page to request more information about paying by this method.

Do you accept returns

Yes we do, unless stated on certain items due to hygiene or contamination reasons. We do not accept returns for fragrance or perfume oils. All we ask is you return items in a saleable condition and we’ll refund you

My goods arrived damaged, what happens now?

If your item has been damaged in transit we ask that you send proof, either by email (including pictures) or returning the product and we will replace the item/s

Will my personal information ever get sold on if I submit it to your site?

Absolutely not. Information you have submitted to us on this website will only be used by ScentyMental to contact you about an order if necessary. We do not store any of your private details and we never sell on information to third parties.

What is Soy Wax?

Soy Wax is a natural wax made from the soy bean through a hydrogenation process.  Soy Wax is a favorite of the natural wax lovers for being more affordable than other natural waxes, they have a longer burn time than a paraffin wax candle and their scent throw is excellent. Soy Wax candles do not increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere and they burn cleaner (produce less soot) also a spillage of Soy Wax is much easier to clean up than paraffin wax,  just hot soapy water is all you’ll need.

What are Aroma Beads?

Small translucent plastic beads that absorb upto 30% fragrance oil, please see our 'how to make' section for more details.

Your Fragrance Oils .. can they be used in soap & B&B product making?

Yes, the majority of our oils are skin friendly or cosmetic fragrance oils. They are perfectly fine for you to purchase to make your own massage oils, soaps, perfumes etc (please note, no oil can be used directly on the skin without dilution). However our oils are US imports and don't include allergen levels in the MSDS. UK/EU regulations state you must label your products allergens if selling your handmade bath & body goods to the general public. Therefore our oils are not acceptable for B&B commercial use.
